SAFETY, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

Ocean Sky insists on high levels of experience and professionalism throughout the organisation. As a result, our safety record is spotless.

Our Manchester Jet Centre is a real centre of excellence, handling maintenance and repair for a wide range of aircraft using its EASA approval.

In addition, the Jet Centre is an authorised Bombardier Service Facility (one of only six in the world), which means we can carry out all routine maintenance and warranty work on Learjet, Challenger and Global type aircraft.

Having this exceptional facility allows us to deliver an integrated, carefully managed maintenance and repair service that minimises disruptions and cost to owners. If unforeseen events occur during day to day operations, we can despatch a team to any airport to coordinate repairs to the aircraft efficiently and economically. Very occasionally, repairs may entail a significant delay; in which case we can supply one of our own aircraft to complete the journey.

FLIGHT DESPATCH & OPERATION

From the very first call right through to the conclusion of each and every trip, clients who fly with Ocean Sky enjoy a service which is characterised by careful planning and thoughtful delivery. In addition to managing the flight, our dedicated despatch team will take care of your complete itinerary if necessary, including ground transportation and hotel accommodation.

The size of our managed fleet gives us leverage to negotiate lower prices on fuel, insurance and other essential operating expenses. These savings directly benefit our clients.

With our customised aircraft management software, we provide a detailed online financial report, allowing owners to access up to date, in-depth analysis on the operating costs of their aircraft via a secure website. We can tailor the information to create a truly bespoke month by month reporting system, which is unique in the industry.

Each aircraft under management at Ocean Sky is assigned its own lead pilot, dedicated aircrew and cabin attendants. This system gives owners extra confidence that their aircraft will be operated respectfully, in a way that reduces maintenance costs and maximises its residual value.

In keeping with our central focus on safety, we recruit only the most experienced pilots through a rigorous selection procedure. At London Luton, Manchester and Glasgow Prestwick Airports, we operate our own state of the art lounges as well as expert ground handling teams – guaranteeing our clients the exceptional Ocean Sky experience during arrivals and departures. In Moscow, a team of Ocean Sky professionals are dedicated to ensuring an equally smooth transit through the airport and the prompt despatch of every flight.

FLIGHT PLANNING

All Ocean Sky’s flight planning is done in-house by our specialised team who handle demanding itineraries on a daily basis, and are adept at ensuring that schedules are rigorously adhered to. As we do not rely on third party flight planning services, we can accommodate a much greater level of flexibility in your itinerary, seamlessly adjusting destinations, departure dates and times at short notice and even during the flight itself.
