-The US Coast Guard, as part of its role in the Department of Homeland Security participates in domestic surveillance of Americans lawfully exercising their First Amendment protected rights.
-The US Coast Guard, as well as National Level Intelligence Consumers were conducting surveillance and analysis of organized labor and Union activities in the United States
