Improving a Formulation Using Oat SILK
Method
Add the Tesco Daily Moisturiser to a mechanical stirrer
Using a propeller blade, apply mechanical stirring at 500-750 rpm
Add a slurry of Oat SILK at 3% and water
Mix for 10-15 minutes until fully dispersed
Oat SILK is a de-branned, very fine oat flour extract – containing 7% Oat Lipid

Designed for textural modification of skin care creams, lotions and colour cosmetic products. This oat flour extract imparts a luxuriant and silky feel to even the most basic emulsions and has an immediate brightening and mattifying effect on skin tone.
Oat SILK IRR A microbially sterile version of Oat SILK 12 for use in baby care and clinical formulations.
