I have organized the program in two parts: participation and involvement in seminars, projects and workshops in my area of interest (Monday-17.02.2020 and Tuesday 21.02.2020): "Rural development and how it influences the architecture dedicated to children in need "," Traditional architecture and how it is treated in the context of new modern trends ". Also in the first days we made presentations of the main education programs of our University in order to see if it is possible to send 2-3 students from our Faculty there, in order to realize there practice, during the summer, at their University through the SEEprogram. The second part consisted of carrying out studies and research visits on certain routes conducted on Wednesday 19.02.2020, together with colleaguesfrom the Norwegian University Collegefor Agricultural and Rural Development. The routes were made taking into account the topics discussed: traditional architecture, sub populated rural areas, methods and strategies to prevent the depopulation of certain areas, the integration of traditional architecture in the context of real estate development with a modern architectural character. Thursday, 20.02.2020 I visited the city of Stavanger where we discussed the examples of integration of classicalarchitecture in the context of the modern development of the urban environment, without minimizing its importance and visibility. An example is the historic Gamle Stavanger district, which contains small restored 18-19 century wooden houses.Another visited site, important from the point of view of the restoration process,is the church in the immediate neighboring city: Sola Ruinkyrje church.
