Thank you to the many family and friends who supported students at the athletics carnival last Friday or who assisted with the running of this annual event. Staff and students would like to thank Angela Smith, Kristy Neill and Teressa Rose for providing canteen to our staff and students on 2 occasions this week. Funds raised will contribute to the school transitioning to new shirts in 2020. Staff and students were treated to a visit from the State Library on Tuesday. Staff from the State Library brought with them artefacts such as an antique globe, the shopping list of an explorer and a telescope. Staff and students from St Josephs joined us for this visit. Students enjoyed an afternoon of skipping yesterday. Funds raised support Jump Rope for Heart. Next week the Nyngan PS Spelling Bee will be held at 9am on Tuesday. I would like to wish all students well in their participation in this. We also wish Nick Motley and Samuel Milligan an enjoyable time at the Moorambilla camp on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week. Nyngan Public School now has a new app. Our previous app ceased in providing this service. As a result we now have Skoolbag providing this service for our school. Please refer to the bottom of the newsletter for more detail. Kylee Pearce Principal
