    Dear Parents/Carers,

Staff and students have had a very productive week at Nyngan Public School. The learning

in classrooms has been plentiful and the basketball, handball and cricket on the

    playground, very entertaining.

I had the pleasure of spending time in the Blue Module earlier in the week. Year 1 shared

their writing stimulus time with me – The Turtle and the Tree House and Year 2

demonstrated amazing independence when publishing their writing. Brock Brook wrote a

detailed story with descriptive vocabulary that he used spelling strategies for when writing.

Super work Brock! Makayla Martin was able to set up a word program from scratch and

publish her writing independently. Amazing effort Makayla!

Today I have commenced a student survey in the Purple Module. The work ethic

demonstrated during Literacy and Numeracy time is something our students and staff can

be proud of. I look forward to continuing conversations with student from the Red Module

    next week.

writing skills. We enjoyed these with a cup of tea this

    afternoon.

  • KINDER

Last Friday Kinder were given a pack to take home to practice their letter formation. Dominic

sent us a photo of the great work he is doing at home. Well done Dominic. If anyone else has

photos we would love to see them. Please send them through Facebook messenger or email
