What is NYC?
NYC stands for Nazarene Youth Conference.
It is an exciting, life-changing event for high school students that occurs just once every four years. It is the second-largest event sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene.
NYC is open to students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2015 through those just graduated from high school as members of the class of 2015.

Over the course of five days packed full of incredible worship services, dynamic speakers,
meaningful ministry projects, large-impact service projects, and much more,
students will examine the Lord’s Prayer and explore what it means
to live out the oft-recited words,
“Thy Kingdom Come.”
On July 8, 2015,
Thousands of high school students from across the United States and Canada
will converge on Louisville, Kentucky, for

One of the three
stated purposes of NYC15 is:
“to impact the host city
and serve the people of Louisville
through a variety of projects and presence,”
and students have routinely named
the “Ministry With Others” (MWO)
projects as a highlight of NYC.
1. Students will spend time prior to the event engaging their home churches in gathering supplies for a designated project.
2. At the event, students will participate in a variety of service opportunities on the ground in the community.
