Food First Recipe Book – Get Involved!

NDR-UK are developing a new recipe book containing fortified recipes for a nourishing diet to support adults suffering from, or at risk of, malnutrition.

The book will provide nutritionally analysed food and drink suggestions to encourage a balanced, nourishing diet that will reduce the risk of complications from undernourishment whilst maintaining quality of life.

The project aims to encourage a varied, satisfying diet that reduces the need for oral nutrition supplements (or enhances their effectiveness), as well as encouraging an interest and enjoyment of food.

We are on the lookout for simple, easy to prepare, low cost recipes enriched with extra protein & energy. If you, as a health professional working with this patient group, have a recipe suggestion (or suggestions!) we would love for you to get involved. If your recipe is selected, you’ll receive three free copies of the published book.

To put your recipe forward, please fill out this form and return it to Jenni Henderson, Development Officer, NDR-UK, 238-239 Baltic Chambers, 50 Wellington Street, Glasgow G2 6HJ.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to fill out our quick online form, please email Jenni – [email protected] - for the link.

Thank you, as always, for your support.

NDR-UK is a charity that operates on a not-for-profit, full cost recovery basis. We are constantly reinvesting in resource development and are well established as a partner to both public and private sector health and social care providers.

NDR-UK aims to be the central source for patient nutrition and diet information in the UK and in doing so cut down on the duplication of effort, time and costs involved in multiple individuals or departments producing resources in house.
