Proposed mass is placed further away from Hainan Association building to address its importance in culture.
The mass is broken down to create a smaller scale building as compared to Hainan Association. Public walkway is formed to connect and revital-ise Line Clear backlane. Public spaces are placed facing Lebuh Chulia.
Residential spaces are placed at rear part of the hub and higher level where privacy can be preserved and vehicular traffic noise from streets is low.
Courtyard typology increases green areas. Courtyards act as magnet to draw community and public into cyclist hub. Curved walls promote smoother cycling movement.

The internal space is formulated to function as semi-public space which acts as social space, similar to function of 5-foot walkway.

ARCH + SHADE DOG SHELTERARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PROJECT
Arch+Shade Dog Shelter: This real project in Pontian, Johor is collabo-rated with Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E) to end euthani-zation in millions of animals. The entire project is made up of simple details to make it possible to realize this project with untrained workforce.
The shelter is an architectural approach that is used to explore the order of geometrically-balanced space. The purpose of the geometrically-balanced space is to counterpoise the chaos-miserable life of homeless pets.
Visitors experience sequence, from ‘Plant’ to ‘Human’ and finally ‘Dog’ space. This gives time for the dogs to calm down before visitors reaching to the kennels.
Area allocation is 2.2m² per dog. Each droplet-shape kennel holds 200 dogs. Zone 4 & 5 are for visitors.

ZONE-ZONE HOUSE2ND GREENTECH HOUSE COMPETITION
The proposed site is located in an urban environ-ment of Kuala Lumpur. A concept of heat barrier, buffer zones and core is developed. By incorperating greenery into the heat barrier, heat again on the building envelope can be reduced and it also provides pleasant indoor environmental quality. While, the core which locates the family spaces is protected by heat barrier and buffer zones to achieve thermal comfort. The dwelling houses 2 families to reduce financial burden in urban life and promote sense of community. The design of Zone.Zone House focuses on passive solar design and self-sustaining ability.
Pastic Composite Lumber• Highly resistant to decay• Non-toxic compared to conventional treated lumber.• Can be recycled into a new wood-plastic composite.
Organic Fibre Membrane• Lightweight material• Semi-transparent, allows optimum sunlight with visual privacy.• Reduces heat flux density by 15-18%.
Glass FibreConcrete• Lightweight• Good strength• High durability
