What is Internet of Things?

�Also called Internet of Everything or Network of Everything

�Embedded electronics (computer which does not look like a computer)

�Objects with unique identifiers (addressable) and have ability to transfer data

�Facilitates automation�sensors, cameras

�wearables, context-sensitive help/monitoring

�Estimates of 25 billion to 100 billion devices by year 2020
