The main purpose of the SAB is to enhance communication between the nursing students and faculty. It consists of a minimum of two voting repre- sentatives from each nursing class and the faculty advisors. All nursing students are welcome to attend the SAB meetings. The board will meet a minimum of one time per semester, and additional meetings will be scheduled as believed necessary by the board. The faculty advisor will bring agenda items from the faculty group to the stu- dent advisory board as well as take student feedback and concerns to faculty. Please contact your class representatives for any concerns that you would like brought to the Faculty’s attention. Once students are placed and overrides for those course are completed, students will be able to view their overrides and register for those courses they have been assigned. If students are able to find another student to switch courses with them, students will need to complete the required form with both students signatures. We will also place the boards for the junior and senior level cours- es outside of Dr. Hoffman’s office for those students looking to switch courses. We will follow the same process followed in the Fall. Also as a reminder please make sure if you plan to take coursework at another college, please make sure you fill out a preapproval form and submit to the transfer as soon as possible.
