Nursery Homework Away We Go! Our topic this half term is ‘Away We Go!’ This week we are looking at the book ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak. Design your own wild thing crown. What will it look like? Will it have lots of sequins or glitter or colours on it? Create a paper boat (you might need help from your parents). Fill a bowl with water - does it float? Where is it going to go? Who is in the boat? Put on some really loud music - create your own wild thing dance. Let the wild rumpus start! There are lots of things that float in water and lots of things that don’t. Can you do an experiment and find out what floats and what doesn’t?
