Frequently Asked Questions Q. What is the difference between an iHRIS and an GHRIS? A. iHRIS is a HR professional management system is for managing human resources in the health sector. GHRIS is a HR tool by DPSM that implements personal profile management for employees like viewing/ updating personal details, printing salary slips, leave, etc. Q. How do I get my username & password to access to iHRIS A. Each county has an iHRIS focal person. Contact this person to help you get iHRIS login credentials as well as approval from your County Chief of Health Officer. Q. What if I forget my user name or password? A. Send an email to ihrisKenya@intrahealth. org Q. What if I make a mistake adding employee, position, or training data? A. You can still go to “update this information”, make corrections and save the data Q. Who should I contact if in difficulties A. See “Contact information” section of this brochure Q. The Make a Job Offer form opens as below Under Position, select the position title of the open position that the employee will fill The Start Date is set to today’s date by default. Select a new date from the menu if different. Click Confirm to confirm that the information entered is correct. If it is not correct, click Edit to change it. Then, click Save to save. Add a Training Provider From the main menu of “iHRIS Train” page, Click Add New Training Provider - The form alongside appears Enter the training provider’s name, type of training and any contacts in the appropriate fields Click Confirm, review the information, and save After Saving, Click “Add Training” to add all trainings provided by the Training Provider Click “Schedule Training” to schedule trainings Adding participants to training Option 1: From Scheduled trainings Click “Scheduled Trainings – you will see a form to enable you select participants for the selected training Option 2: Adding Person to Training via person page Go to persons page, then click on “Add Training” Select the Training course as scheduled in the previous section
