Different from other organizations, for university knowledge management has been part of its DNA since its inception.

But in the information age, modern universities are facing tremendous challenges in preserving, creating, sharing and disseminating knowledge.

More and more specialized knowledge creation vs. Increasing demands for interdisciplinary studies.

Adopting systematic knowledge management strategies and technologies are much more important then before.
