Of Engineering

As one of the largest engineering colleges in the world with 6 constituent Schools,16,000 students, 600 faculty and 1,200 non-faculty staff, the College of Engineeringoffers a rich array of multidisciplinary programmes and specialisations catering tothe varied interests, talents and career aspirations of students.

We aim to nurture well-rounded engineer leaders who are flexible across disciplinesand not limited by national boundaries. The holistic and versatile education youreceive at the College gives you a strong and sustainable foundation for an excitingfuture, diversity in engineering professions and global leadership.

All the engineering programmes are accredited. For some, we are seeking renewalof accreditation under the new Washington Accord through the Engineering

Programmes Offered Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

This programme amalgamates principles of chemical engineering and lifesciences (biology, biochemistry and genetics) to facilitate the developmentof safe, profitable and environment-friendly processes for the synthesisand manufacture of products from chemical/biological raw materials.

Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering

As an international student, you can have the choice to be admitted as a fulltuition fee-paying student or a subsidised fee-paying student.

If you are eligible and you choose to apply for Tuition Grant, you will pay thesubsidised tuition fee. In return, you are required and bonded under the termsof the Ministry of Education Tuition Grant to work in any Singapore registeredcompanies based overseas or in Singapore for 3 years upon graduation.

The application fee is required when you apply and it

is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you choose to pay online bycredit card, you will enjoy a discounted application feeat S$20.

At NTU, we have a wide comprehensive range offinancial assistance schemes to make it financiallyviable for you to complete your education. Eligibleinternational students can apply for Tuition Fee Loanand Study Loan. Up to 90% of the subsidised tuition

fee payable by Singaporeans may be financedfrom the Tuition Fee Loan. Another 10% of thesubsidised tuition fee payable by Singaporeansplus an annual living allowance of up to S$3,600may be financed from the Study Loan.
