assist you in analyzing and reporting on current and past NTPEP evaluations. The application allows NTPEP Testing Facilities and Auditors to enter real timedata online. Also our industry partners and the NTPEP administration may review product information and preliminary reports online for timely reporting oall evaluations.

Regarding interpreted values for design purposes, these are applicable to a specific set of conditions. For products in the line no
specifically tested, these have been interpolated from the test results using the MARV of the tensile strength.1 For RFID, the values provided are applicable to a backfill soi l d50 of 5.9 mm (Gradation No. 2 in the full report), using the
recommended approach in the full report to apply the strength retained results to the products in the line not specifically t ested.2 For RFCR , the recommended value is bas ed on the rupture l imit estimated at 20
o C and 75 years.3 For RFD, the reduction factor is a default value that is generally applicable for product lines meeting the index test criteria
recommended in the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications (and AASHTO PP66-10) and which are repeated in the full
report.
The use of a default value for RFD is only applicable to a nonaggressive environment as defined in the AASHTO LRFD Bridge
Design Specifications, AASHTO PP66-10, and WSDOT T925.
Note that the default value for RFD may be reduced for less aggressive conditions than specified as the l imits of what is
defined as nonaggressive, or to consider documented long-term performance of a given product, or some other feature of
the product that would insure superior durability.

Regarding interpreted values for design purposes, these are applicable to a specific set of conditions. For products in the line no
specifically tested, these have been interpolated from the test results using the MARV of the tensile strength.1 For RFID, the values provided are applicable to a backfill soil d50 of 5.9 mm (Gradation No. 2 in the full report), using the
recommended approach in the full report to apply the strength retained results to the products in the line not specifically t ested.2 For RFCR , the recommended value is based on the rupture limit es timated at 20
o C and 75 years.3 For RFD, the reduction factor is a default value that is generally applicable for product lines meeting the index test criteria
recommended in the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications (and AASHTO PP66-10) and which are repeated in the full
report.
The use of a default value for RFD is only applicable to a nonaggressive environment as defined in the AASHTO LRFD Bridge
Design Specifications, AASHTO PP66-10, and WSDOT T925.
Note that the default value for RFD may be reduced for less aggressive conditions than specified as the l imits of what is
defined as nonaggressive, or to consider documented long-term performance of a given product, or some other feature of
the product that would insure superior durability.
