NOTE:Theorderhasbeenmodifiedtoenablemoreefficientconductoftheassessment.

TestGuidelines
• Performanceofuprightactivitiesmustnotbecompletedifalowerlimbinjuryexists.However,thesubjectmayperformtheheadliftandgets-to-sittingitemsifheisable.Provide‘comments’onthesourceworksheet.
• CompletetheNSAAintheorderprovided(Pleasenotethishasbeenmodifiedfromprevioustrialsforasmootheradministration).
• DoNOTuseamat.
• Pleasenotethetimeinsecondsroundedtothenearesttenthofasecondforalltimedtests(eg,risefromfloorand10m‘run’).
• Generally,activitiesaregradedinthefollowingmanner:
Scoreof2=‘Normal’–noobviousmodificationofactivity
Scoreof1=Modifiedmethodbutachievesgoalwithnophysicalassistance
Scoreof0=Unabletoachievegoalindependently
• Ifyouthinkthesubjectiscapableofabetterperformance,duetonon-complianceorimprovedunderstandingoftask,itisacceptabletoaskthesubjecttorepeattheitemandre-scoreifappropriate.
