What is the NRA?

We are the National Rifle Association. We fight for your right to bear arms.

Look at these happy members!

Why should you join us?

You should have the right to protect yourself. This is a time of civil strife and instability.

Terrorists might bomb your house.

And of course we want to preserve the 2nd amendment: The right to bear arms.

We offer many different certifications. These Include: Marksman Training Hunting NRA Police Firearms Instructor certification program And many more!

Membership

Why join the NRA? With all regular

memberships, you will receive free subscriptions to various magazines.

You will also receive $10,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment.

You will receive $1000 dollars of firearms insurance

Founding of the NRA

Colonel William C. Church and Gen. George Wingate formed the National Rifle Association in 1871.

After being granted a charter by the state of New York on November 17, 1871, the NRA was founded.

More Current History

In more recent history the NRA has been creating more and more programs to train civilians.

We have also established the NRA foundation, which is an organization that raises money to fund gun safety and educational projects.

Leadership in the NRA

The NRA is governed by a large group of directors, around 75 people.

The directors nominate a spokes leader who is currently held by John C. Sigler.

We are a rather conservative interest group. Although we encourage anyone to join us.

We support any politician who will support our views.
