CARE has a process to repair TR doors that are deemed Beyond Economical Repair (BER) by the OEM. CARE’s solution helps reduce your cost and provides protection from further corrosion. 2.0 Program Description A Thrust Reverser Door that fails the thickness test after the corrosion is removed is considered BER by the OEM. • CARE’s process is FAA approved repair to extend the service life of the Thrust Reverser Pivot Doors. • Corrosion resistant material covers the wash area. • The material is secured in place using rivets and adhered with high structural epoxy. • The wash area is then isolated from the original structure to prevent corrosion from dissimilar metals. • Reapplication of the coating to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. • The TR Door is then painted to match the original color. 3.0 Supported Aircraft Challenger 300 (20003 – 20500)

CHALLENGER 300
THRUST REVERSER PIVOT DOOR REPAIR PROGRAM
1.0 Introduction
Challenger 300 Thrust Reverser Pivot Doors are susceptible to corrosion. CARE has a process to repair TR doors that are deemed Beyond Economical Repair (BER) by the OEM.
