Gospel Reflection

Today, on the feast of Christ

the King, we read that a

ruler or leader should be like

a shepherd. The leader is to

care for all the people and

protect them. And a wise

and loving ruler knows that

what is important for the

people is equally important

for their leader. In today's

gospel, the ruler is also a

judge. At the last judgment, Christ is pictured as

the king who judges the nations.

Thanksgiving Day Mass 9:30 a.m.

Our Thanksgiving collection will be donated to

First Call for Help of Ellis County.

Religious Formation (CCD). NO class Wednesday.

Seminarian donations should be turned in next week if you

have not already done so. Since we did not receive the

special envelopes, please mark your donation or envelope

“Seminary. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE …by Bud Ozar Families feed the hungry, give drinks to thirsty

toddlers and welcome strangers and even estranged relatives into our homes. We clothe children and

visit family members who are sick and imprisoned.

The routine actions of family life are religious and

priestly for we make Christ present in what we do.

Family life is Beatitude life.
