2014 Schedule Released!

The Philadelphia Junior Tour has released the Spring 2014 Tournament

Calendar, and opened Membership Registration for next year. We will

be adding more tournaments in the off-season so keep checking back

regularly for updates.

To register for next season, please click here. As always, for your

membership application to be processed, a 2014 Parental Consent

Form needs to be emailed, faxed or mailed to the Section office.

In the continued effort to support our

membership, and improve the Philadelph-

ia Junior Tour, we are happy to announce

the continuation of the Philly Junior Elite

Tour for the 2014 season.

This time we will offer regular Junior Tour

events on the same day as our Elite Tour

events. This will give our members the op-

tion to play golf that day even if they did

not qualify for the Elite Tour.

The Elite Tour was established to help our

juniors climb up the National Rankings by

playing locally. Many factors go into deter-

mining national rankings, including size of

Elite Tour Format

36-Hole Tournament

Held Over 2 Days at a Premier Facility

Day 1: Afternoon Shotgun

Day 2: Morning Tee Times, Paired

Based on Scores from Round 1.

Boys 13-15 & Boys 16-18 Divisions

Play From Approximately 6,500 Yards

Girls 13-15 & Girls 16-18 Divisions

Play From Approximately 6,000 Yards

Announcing new for the 2014 Season!

Philly Junior Elite Tour field, strength of field, yardages, slope,

course rating, etc. We will be looking to

fill our elite tournament fields with a

minimum of 40 boys and 12 girls, set

competitive yardages, and take into

consideration the course’s slope and

course rating to increase the prestige of

these events. Juniors must compete in

four JGS-ranked tournaments in a cal-

endar year to establish a national rank-

ing.

Registration:

If you were eligible to compete on the

Elite Tour in 2013, please select the Elite

Membership option during registration

(Elite Membership is the same price as

our Full Membership). The entry fee for

an Elite Tour event is $125.

Schedule:

This year we plan on scheduling five Elite Tournaments.

Girls ONLY Events coming this 2014 Season

The Philadelphia Junior Tour is making moves in the 2014 season to in-

crease the number of girl golfers involved on our tour. Please save some

room in your calendar next year to be a part of our girls Philly Jr. Tour.

Playing in our events are guaranteed to better your knowledge of the game

as well as prepare you for collegiate level golf.

12 and Under Event coming this 2014 Season

Please also stay tuned for more information to come on our

first ever 12 and Under ONLY event this 2014 Season.
