Volunteers Needed! We are looking for Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to serve at Mass on Saturday and Sunday at St. Joseph Parish. Thank you! 7:00pm Mass Due to very poor attendance, and taking into consideration heavy electric and heating bills and, also, in anticipation of inclement weather during the winter, in consultation with members of the Parish and Finance Councils of St. Joseph Parish, the 7:00pm Mass followed by Adoration in the Parish Center will be suspended indefinitely effective November 30. Masses that were previously scheduled for 7:00pm after that date will be rescheduled. PARISH NEWS! Annual Catholic Appeal We are pleased to share that St. Joseph has raised $28,980.00. With Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to do the St. Thomas Giving Tree as usual this year. Instead of gift requests, we are asking for gift certificates to Walmart, Target, Roche Bros., or Market Basket for the Millis Ecumenical Food Pantry families. They will be distributed according to need. The tree will be up on November 28 at St. Thomas Church. Gift certificates can be left at the Church any time after that, or they can be mailed directly to the Food Pantry at: 142 Exchange Street, Millis, MA 02054. Every year, we are so grateful for the amazing generosity of our parishioners. This year, rather than selecting paper gift tags at our weekend Masses, you will find gift requests posted online at SignUpGenius.com. Livestream Mass We will Livestream the 11:30 Mass on Sunday mornings from the Parish Center @ Stjosoephmedway.tv Cardinal Sean’s dispensation from attending Sunday Mass remains in place for all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Boston.

From the Religious Education Office I hope you are all well! I am very happy with how religious education has been running this past month! Thank you all for your feedback and your participation. I just wanted to send a kind reminder that Mass cards are due every week and homework is due bi-weekly. Non-perishable items are always needed and appreciated.

Medway Food Pantry at Mahan Circle Donations of non-perishable items are always greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the large wood bin at Fr. Mara Hall. If you are wondering what to donate, some items that the food pantry always needs are: toilet paper, paper towels, personal hygiene products, feminine products, canned goods, mayonnaise, cereal, rice, pasta, etc. Before donating, please check to be sure that items have not expired! Your continued support is much needed and appreciated. Mass Cards Mass cards are available to have a Mass offered for one of your loved ones who are either alive or deceased.
