With winter just around the corner, the homeless in our communi-
ties are once again at risk from the cold and rain. The Divine Mer-
cy Squires are now collecting coats, jackets, blankets, gloves, hats
and scarves for those in need…but we need your help! We ask
that you look through your closets for new or lightly-used adult-
sized items that are no longer used or needed. Donated items can
be placed in the collection bin located
in the Narthex from Nov 4th through
Dec 8th. For more information,
please contact Dave Leahy at

Do you want to learn how to unlock the secret to better understanding how to read the Bi-ble?
Join us for a eight session introductory DVD series by Jeff Cavins starting Tuesday,
December 4th and ending Tuesday February 5th, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 am in the church Narthex room. In "Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible," Jeff Cavins helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scrip-ture, so that you can get the “big picture” of the Bible. In this engaging journey through the Bible, you will be able to make sense of the Bible, discover the remarkable connections between the Old and New Testa-ments, see how the sacraments, the Church and our entire Catholic Faith is rooted in Scripture and much more. Workbooks will be available for sale at the first session for $22. For new participants, just drop Jim Stutz at [email protected] a note and then just show up for the first ses-sion Tuesday Dec 4th.

over 400 meals to people in need. Please pray that the homeless, the hungry, and those displaced by the CA wildfires find a peace
and joy this holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!
