Please join us in reciting the Rosary every morning (Mon-Sat) at 7:35am before daily Mass. It’s a beautiful and spiritual way to start your day. Every day following weekday Mass, we invite you to join us for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Prayers usually start approximately 5-10 minutes after Mass (around 8:40am). If you can’t join us, you can join the Divine Mercy on EWTN television channel at noon.

SCHOOL STUDENT NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY The school, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color or national and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privi-leges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, col-or, disability, sex or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions poli-cies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and oth-er school-administered programs, although certain athlet-ic leagues and other programs may limit participation and some archdiocesan schools operate as single sex schools. While the school does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student’s emotional, academic and physi-cal abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student’s needs.

A Christmas Carol Play
A man and his young son went to church, and when they came out the father was complaining that the service was too long, the preacher was no good, and the singing was off-key, Finally, the little boy said, "Daddy, I thought it was pretty good for a dime." Monthly: 1st Friday & Saturday ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Friday, December 1st, 2017 – 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Come join us for meditative prayer before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament every First Friday of the month, starting after the 8:00 am Mass until 7:00 pm, followed by a Mass at 7:30 pm.
We invite our parishioners to spend some time before the Blessed Sacrament and pray for an increase in vocations and your own personal intentions.
“The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic worship. Jesus waits for us in this
Sacrament of Love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration and in contemplation that is full
of faith… May our adoration never cease.” – Saint John Paul II
ROSARY PROCESSION WALK & BENEDICTION 1st Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 – Immediately following the 5pm Mass. Join us for a walk around our Church campus, as we recite the entire Rosary, ending with the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
DID YOU KNOW? If you’re traveling to spend Thanksgiving with friends or family, it’s important that everyone in your group is up to speed on travel safety, and this safety starts at home. Make sure you have plans in place that let friends and family know where you’re headed, and set up your house to look “lived-in” when you’re on the road. Teach kids to pack smart—avoid bringing unneeded valuables and carry only the necessary ID cards and money in the event of an emergency. Together In Mission 2017: “Be The Light Of Christ” For more info, visit: www.ourmissionla.org
Earlier this autumn, we looked at how our Eucharistic Prayers have been enriched by the approval of several new prayers to augment the old Roman Canon. For us, there are the four standard prayers, three for Masses with Children, and the most recent addition, the former Swiss Eucharistic Prayer with four alternative forms (now known as the Eucharistic Prayer for Masses for Various Needs and Occasions). We also have two Eucharistic Prayers for Masses of Reconciliation. The source for these two prayers is the request by many bishops for a special prayer for the “Holy Year” of 1975. Originally, the committee in charge was commissioned to write a single prayer, but the theme proved so rich that it gave rise to two.
