This interior-grade nylon material has a 80 Shore D hardness rating (durometer) and an ultraviolet (UV) inhibitor that blocks unwanted light. It is also resilient and shatterproof. With a clear recycled base and 8 different gauges, your fabricating options are unlimited: Surface paint, subsurface paint or use digital graphics.

Novacryl® LP™ is all about choice for the architectural design and sign fabrication industry. This series broadly expands the selection of materials available for ADA-compliant sign fabrication. Bonding clear photopolymer to the comprehensive offering of laminates made by leaders in the industry including Pionite, Wilsonart and Formica. Sign designers can choose from an array of wood grains, marbles and granites, plus hundreds of colors and patterns to complement any decor.

Photoluminescent material for architectural and safety sign applications.

Novacryl® Permaglow 150™ is the ideal solution for safety and egress signage, as well as environmental concerns about energy savings and CO2 emissions. Absorbing ambient light during the day and providing photoluminescent emergency guidance at night. In the event of a power outage, the photoluminescent material instantly emits light without electrical power ensuring orderly egress to and inside stairwells and exits. Novacryl® Ex™ is the industry’s first pure, exterior-grade photopolymer resin. Its unique synthetic rubber monomers are exterior rated immediately after initial exposure to UV light. Novacryl® Ex™ resin has a 0% swell rate in moisture-saturated environments, preventing collapse - even if the finish coat is less than perfect. Novacryl® Ex™ is compatible with all exterior paints and requires no extended treatments.

vulcanized 70 durometer silicone pad is attached to the heated

sign material. This stack-style processor features an orbital washout,

an exposure section, a three drawer dryer and a post exposure section.

Any of these features can be customized to tailor the system for your

orbital-action platen provides efficient and smooth washout and a digital

timer assures accurate washout times. The brush height is adjustable

Nova Polymers has partnered with Arcat, a leader in BIM object development to introduce the first BIM objects for use in Architectural and Wayfinding Signage. BIM Advantages - BIM is the process of developing a building model which is used in presenting and visualizing building components, construction sequences, resource allocation and other disciplines of construction process in a virtual environment. Building Information Model is an object-oriented building progress tool that utilizes 4D modeling concepts along with Autodesk Revit, Tekla structure, ArchiCAD software to design and build a building, as well as communicate its essentials. How To Make Photoplymer Signs Everything You Need To Know!

Contact With Flim Negative

STEP 1PHOTOPOLYMER SIGNSHOW TO MAKE

Exposure with UV Light

STEP 2

There is a bank of UV lamps that shine down and pass through the clear areas of the film negative and expose the photopolymer material.

Wash in Plain Tap Water

STEP 3

The unexposed photopolymer gets washed away during the washout process in plain tap water.

The photopolymer effluent is 100% biodegradable and goes right down the drain. You are left with the exposed raised images.

Drying

STEP 4

Dry the moisture off the material. The photopolymer and the base PETG does not absorb moisture during the washout - drying is to evaporate any standing moisture left on the sheet.

Post Exposure

STEP 5

Post exposure is a second exposure to fully cure, harden and activate the photpolymer. This is the final step in processing photopolymer.

5 Easy Steps

The first step is to place a high density film negative on top of the photopolymer sheet.

Note: This shows how the Braille will appear after the top coating.
