The Goethe-Institut Philippinen and its partners, SM Cinemas, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), St. Louis University, University of San Carlos and Liceo de Cagayan University, present the third edition of the German Film Week in the Philippines. This year’s program features 10 new movies of contemporary German cinema that reach from classic themes of love, friendship and family, to contemporary themes in Europe, such as the refugee crisis. According to Dr. Ulrich Nowak, Director of the Goethe-Institut Philippinen, “the movie selection this year offers movies for young and old, for romantics and action fans, and for dreamers and realists. It combines easy-to-watch movies with movies that will make you think – giving the audience an insight into German art and culture. ” SHARE TWEET SHARE EMAIL Nat’l poetry seminar at CCP on Dec. 8 Artists convene to support human rights 9th Kutitap held for Indigenous Peoples ‘A reconstruction of memories’ at CCP until Feb. 2019 ‘Continuing Spirit: Alfredo Esquillo’ at Areté VT Artsalon’s ‘Project Island Hopping – Reversing Imperialism’ eyes to provide route to reect upon and resist imperial invasion CCP Outreach brings terno mentoring for reg’l designers Almost half of APAC respondents think it’s not okay to wear socks with sandals Kaye Morales launches ‘Identity’ If you can count, you can change career Earning money from home (Without launching a business) Why stress levels in the workplace have heightened in 2018 Looking in, not just looking back, with ‘Kung Paano Hinihintay ang Dapithapon’ Waxing poetic with ‘Musmos na Sumibol sa Gubat ng Digma’ Longing for more in Denise O’Hara’s ‘Mamang’ Movies FilmMakers Celebs Music Makers Turning Classical Alternative Sounds Dance Plays Musicals Turning Classical NEWSMAKERS FLICKS ART ATTACK MAKING MUSIC FASHION ONSTAGE TOOLS&GOODS
