BUNDLES FOR BABIES (0900-1130): Bundles provides expectant parents
with a wealth of information to include financial preparation, car seat safety,
nurturing your new bundle of joy, and more in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
Those attending will receive a $50 gift card from AAFES.
CAPSTONE: Mandatory for all retirees and separatees NLT 90 days prior to
separation date. This event will validate and verify the service member’s
preparedness to be successful following their military service by producing
documentation to meet all of their Career Readiness Standards.
PRE-SEPARATION BRIEFING (0800 or 1300): Mandatory briefing for
everyone separating from the military. Advise and present information on the
services and resources available. This will assist individuals in making informed
decisions about the choices open to members and their families.
RIGHT START (0730-1100): This program is facilitated by the A&FRC staff.
It brings together various base and community speakers to give our new arrivals
an overview of the base and local community programs, services, history,
recreational and cultural opportunities. Spouses are encouraged to attend.
REUNION & REINTEGRATION (1000-1100): Mandatory reunion and
reintegration briefings are provided on a walk-in basis each day at 1000. No
registration required. Spouses, significant others and family members are highly
encouraged to attend..
TAP SEMINAR (0800-1600): This mandatory 5-day program is for those who
are preparing to retire or separate. Retirees can participate as soon as 24 months
prior to retirement and separatees 12 months prior to separation. Spouses and/or
significant others are encouraged to attend on a space-available basis.
Healthy Relationships (1200-1300): This
couples workshop includes a personality type indicator
assessment (True Colors) and a basic overview of the
different communication styles to assess how your
personality style affects communication.
BOOTS to BUSINESS (0800-1600): This 2-day
workshop is designed as an experience to assist you in
realizing your entrepreneurial dreams and aspirations –
whatever they may be! You will develop a set of skills and
competencies focused on entrepreneurial opportunity
recognition, innovation, and small business management.
This course is about dreaming and action.
READINESS BRIEFING (0800-0900): Whether military members are
scheduled to deploy or re-deploy, it is vital to have personal and family affairs in
order. This briefing will provide information and support during all phases of
deployment. Briefing is mandatory for all active duty members deploying and
we highly encourage spouses, significant others and family members to attend.
RESUME WORKSHOP (0800-1100): One of the most important and
intimidating steps in the job search process is writing a solid resume that gets the
attention you need. An effective resume opens the door to your next career
opportunity. This course presents information to assist you with developing a
resume and cover letter to best represent your skills and qualifications.

SibShop (1000-1400): This 4 hour quarterly eventis designed as a support group for siblings of childrenwith special needs (family must be enrolled in EFMP).Open only to children 8-13 years old. Activities anddiscussions aimed at assisting children withchallenges involved with having a special needs sibling.Lunch is included ($5 fee per child for lunch).
EFMP Support Group Meeting (1100-1300): Via video/audio or in office.
Meeting designed to inform families about services that may be required or
needed for exceptional family members. It is also designed to identify gaps in
the EFMP system, allow members to address concerns, seek assistance and
more.
HOMESCHOOL MEETING (1800-1900): School Liaison
Officer Homeschool Meeting for parents that homeschool.
This event will give parents an opportunity to share
information, network with each other and provide an update
