Possessive Nouns

The possessive form of a noun is used to show ownership

The possessive of singular nouns is formed by adding an apostrophe plus an s AND

For plural nouns is formed by adding just an apostrophe

Here are some examples Possessive Nouns:

1) Monica’s house The house belongs to Monica

2) The horses’ manes The manes belonging to the horses

Countable:- Things you can count (singular or plural)

Example: One apple, two apples, three apples…

Uncountable:- Things you can´t count (they can’t be plural)

Example: chocolate, Butter, meat…
