2. Nativism and Fear of Communism
A. Communism takes over Russia in 1917.i. Economic AND political system.

c. VERY HIGH Tariffs on imports to protect our companies.
d. Buying on Margin: Buying stocks by putting only a small percentage down and borrowing the rest.
i. Margin Call: Can ask for the loan back at anytime for any reason.
