Prayer is a way we communicate our needs, thankfulness and gratitude to God. There are many form of prayer that can be used to communicate with God. Over the next few weeks we will explore some of these forms and how we can use them to communicate with God. THANKSGIVING. This is self-explanatory. We all have had something good happen to us. When we do, we usually give thanks to God for all he’s done for us. That’s Thanksgiving prayer! We should thank God every morning for each day and thank Him in the evening for helping us through the day. That’s our way of giving thanks to God for the blessings that are ours! RCIA - Do you want to know more about the Catholic faith? Are you baptized in another faith and would like to be Catholic? Are you baptized Catholic but need communion and/or confirmed? Classes for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) will begin in September and will conclude with the Easter Vigil in April. There will be an inquiry session on Monday, September 17th at 7:45pm in the Rectory Meeting room where more information will be given. Classes meet on Monday’s at 7:45pm in the Rectory Meeting room. It is very important that the sign-up sheets that are available at the parking lot side door and the back of the Church be filled. Exposition of Jesus on our altar can only be possible if adorers are present throughout the day. Personal prayer is powerful!
