Notability Initial Setup Since students and teachers in almost every course will use Notability, it is imperative that the app be setup and organized for maximum security and efficiency. The following steps will ensure that work done in Notability will be synchronized with and archived in cloud storage to prevent lost data, even in the event of a damaged or misplaced iPad. 1.) iCloud Settings First, launch the Settings app to be sure you are signed into iCloud and are syncing “Documents and Data”: To sign into iCloud, you will need your Apple ID and password (used in the App Store, iTunes Store, and/ or iBooks Store) 2.) Backing up to GoogleDrive Launch Notability and enter the app’s Settings via the gear icon. In the “Auto-Backup” tab in Notability’s settings, select GoogleDrive. Sign into your account and grant Notability access to your GoogleDrive (you will need your Kellenberg e-mail address and password).
