• The man in the picture is Keith Haring. He was a famous American artist. He started his art by drawing in the New York subway. He wanted everyone to share his art .

• He opened the Pop Shop in New York City in 1986. He opened another Pop Shop in Tokyo, Japan in 1998.

• Today only the Pop Shop in New York is still open. It sells pins, pens, watches, pictures, books, T-shirts, ties, toys and more! Everything has Keith Haring’s art on it.
