Elements
Endeavors
Three Tiers
ElementsThe basic elements of the program
The individual mentor, the mentee, and the mentoring assets of the NCBAA
EndeavorsEncourage all members to be ambassadors of business
aviation and participate in mentoring efforts.Support members who have a desire to mentor people
interested in private/corporate aviation. Establish a system to facilitate the mentor and mentee
connection, manage assets, and record outcomes.
Actively build financial assets dedicated to be used for the mentoring program.
Three TiersTier One
People who have had little exposure to professional general aviation and the teachers, schools, and groups who associate with potential candidates for a career in aviation. This group would receive time from NCBAA members and some limited exposure to the tangible assets.
Three TiersTier Two
People interested in aviation who have not made a definite career choice. (Ex: High school age persons with some exposure to aviation.) This group would benefit from repeated interaction with mentors and unlimited exposure to the tangible assets.
Three TiersTier Three
Individuals committed to a career in aviation, who possess the attitude essential to be successful in a business aviation career. All assets will be available to this group of individuals, including financial help to cover costs related to learning the skills needed to be a candidate as a professional in this field.
