Distribution of Emergency SuppliesDistribution of Emergency Supplies

We distributed clothes offered by UNIQLO and emergency supplies donated by people all over Japan, to 1,256 local people in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture on 2 and 3 April.We have had conducted three distribution so far to total 2,015 people in Ishinomaki City.

Medical Support

We have dealt with the medical support with several NGOs, from the base in Tohoku International Clinic in Natori (the clinic’s director, Dr Kuwayama is an advisor of NICCO).W d di l ti f thWe commenced medical practice for the victims 24/7 on the next day the tsunami occurred.In Rikuzentakada, we added one more mobile clinic team (a doctor in each team) last week andclinic team (a doctor in each team) last week, and also started mobile clinic for mental care. Counseling by clinical psychotherapists and psychosocial care program to prevent children from having PTSD are planning to be open.
