North Region - ABRSM High Scorers' Festival 29th February 2020 Prince of Wales Island International School, Penang (POWIIS) 9:30AM Registration Participants may register 30 minutes prior to their session, or earlier 10am - 10:50am GRADE 5 11:00am - 11:45am Grade 1 Group A (Age 9 and below) & Grade 1 Group B (Age 10 and above) 12:00am - 12:15am Grade 3 & 4 12:30pm - 12:45pm Prize Giving for morning sessions Lunch Break 1:45pm - 2:10pm Ensemble Category 2:20pm - 2:45pm Grade 2 2:55pm - 3:30pm Grade 6 & 7 3:45pm - 4:20pm Grade 8 & ARSM 4:30pm - 4:50pm Prize Giving for afternoon sessions Prizes Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorary Mention trophies or medals will be awarded to participants based on the required marks received from performance. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there will not be a Regional Finals for Grade 8 & ARSM categories but it will be replaced by a National Finals on the 19th April in Kuala Lumpur. Gold Prize winners for Grade 8 & ARSM Categories are eligible to take part in the National Finals. Participants All participants must register using the QR Codes found in the payment receipt (or duplicate receipts). Each QR Code has the participant’s name, grade and instrument printed below the code. You may not register another participant with one same receipt / QR Code. if you have signed up for different instruments or category, you only need to register once. Guide: 1. Register with your QR Code to get your sticker and two free day passes. 2. Buy additional day passes (if needed) at the sales table. Day pass holder can observe all sessions all day. 3. Be outside the competition venue 10 minutes before the scheduled start of your session. 4. Collect your certificate of participation outside from the door crew. 5. Teacher’s appreciation letters can be collected at the registration counter at the end of your competition either by teacher themselves or student may collect on their teacher’s behalf. 6. Participants not present at the Prize giving session may assign a representative to collect on your trophy or medal on your behalf. 7. All uncollected certificates, letters, trophies and medals will not be kept or sent.
