North Sea Scenario Norshore Concept

Semi-submersible drills entire well; tophole

drilling, drilling with riser/BOP, well completion.

75 Days 10 + 65 Days

Norshore drill top holes & last part of P & A.

Drilling rig/ship to perform remaining drill work.

An oil company with three drilling rigs can drill ~14 wells in one year

With one Norshore unit and three drilling rigs he can drill ~17 wells in one year

Tophole Drilling - A more efficient way of drilling

Well cost reduction of 5 -15 %.

Annual increased rig utilization of 10 - 20 %

• 2,5 mUSD

Cost reduction, increased rig utilization and increased

numbers of wells drilled per year. • Rig Dayrate – 450.000,. USD

• Norshore Atlantic Day Rate – 200.000,- USD

SAVING PER WELL

• Direct day rate savings on drilled well; 20% (5.5 mUSD)

• Rig can be utilized for 22 days on other well; USD10 mill in increased efficiency

Typical average well construction sequence; 52 days drilling and 10 days completion work.

Page 32: Norshore Drill Ship Presentation 1113

General, Run Upper Completion in Open Water

• Rig install lower completion – 1st barrier

• Rig install 2nd barrier. – Seperate run – barrier assembly. Two internal WL retrievable barriers and one annulus

packer. Verify 2nd barrier by use of Gauges and readback to surface.

• Rig leaves the Location.

• Norshore Atlantic arrives Location (Case: Horizontal Tree).

– Install Horizontal XMT either by SS Crane or from Tower.

– By SS Crane, Install on top of XMT ”Stand Alone” Cutting/Closing Device. (Offline

Activity) • H4 Connector / / 2 x Blind Shear Ram / H4 Connector / Removable Protection - Guiding Funnel

• Alternativ, utilize 18 ¾" BOP.

– Run Upper Completion

– Install SS Lubricator

– Retrieve Internal Plugs, Hold Open Sleeves.

– Install Crown Plug, Tree Cap

– Hand over to Production or Clean Up Well to Norshore Atlantic.
