July 2014 Official Publication of the Normandy Forest Homeowners Association Volume 3, Issue 7
Even the rain did not deter residents from enjoying our Memorial Day event. Bikes decorated in Red, White and Blue, some with photographs of brave fighting men, were escorted by our police and firefighters down the flag-lined streets of our subdivision. Then, to the delight of the children attending, firefighters shot the truck water cannon into the air to soak them.
There was good food, swimming and two bouncy houses for the kiddos. Burgers and hotdogs were cooked on our huge new
grill. Many new residents said they were thrilled with the event and said they were glad to have moved to Normandy Forest.
By 3PM the rain had worsened and the movie had to be canceled. Michelle said there would be another movie-in-the-park night during the summer. Another great job by George and Michelle Tsatsaronis!
A big THANK YOU to NWHC Mud #28 and our HOA for sponsoring this event, all who volunteered, Patrolman Coulter, and our Spring Firefighters.

There seems to be an influx of rats in all the neighborhoods along the 2920 corridor. With the cutting down of wooded areas to make way for strip malls and new housing, rats and other animals are looking for new places to inhabit. Keeping the lid down on your trash can will deter rodents from entering them for an easy meal. Keep shed and garage doors closed. Don't let newspapers pile up outside your home and check firewood piles for these pests. If you find rodent droppings, your local hardware store can assist in finding the newest technology in traps.
With everyone's cooperation, we can have a safe, clean neighborhood.
