Unique chamber geometryExtremely modular, VI vertical shaft crusher layouts can, inthe same frame, be changed without major modificationsto open rotor set ups with anvils or closed rotor solutionswith stone bunkers. They feature many technical benefitssuch as the tapered shape of the anvils making it possibleto turn them when they are half worn and to boost thepayload, thereby improving productivity. The specificshape of the closed rotor reduces rotor wear andmaintenance costs by increasing reduction factors.
Easy to maintain with high security levelThe frame is closed by a hydraulic jack. The interior of thecrusher is accessed via safety doors behind the lid.Particular care has been taken to secure and simplify plantmaintenance. Drive pulleys are no longer changed underthe crusher with all the risks this implies, but directly facingthe operator. A central lubrication system optimisesbearing greasing and reduces the number of servicinginterventions. Vibration sensors shut down the crusherimmediately if a problem is detected.
Application flexibility with environmentconcernNo drastic modifications are required if, for any reason, youdecide to change your VI impact crusher tasking. Machinedesign limits dust emissions by reducing and recirculatingair flows within the crusher confinement hood. VI verticalshaft crushers are all pre-equipped for fitting a wide rangeof dust traps.

Product grading
The output screen analysis of vertical impact crushers varies according to different parameters, the feed screen analysis, the feedmaterial and the rotor speed.The output screen analysis may change for different rocks with the same feed screen analysis and the same rotor speed.
If the rotor speed increases the screen analysis will be finer.
