NonVERBAL vs. NonVOCAL

Nonverbal & Nonvocal – no words, no voice (ex. Slumping in chair, sleeping)

Nonverbal & Vocal – no words, but voice (ex. Humming, laughing, clearing throat)

Verbal & Nonvocal – words with no voice (ex. Writing an email, texting)

Verbal & Vocal – words and voice (singing, talking)
