CROSSHOLE SEISMIC
Manufacturer: Soils Engineering & Geophysics, Inc. – Mississippi,
USA
SEISMIC REFRACTION SURVEY
Manufacturer: ABEM, Sweden
The seismic cross hole method provides a designer with information pertinent to
the seismic wave velocities of the
materials in question. This data maybe used as input into static/dynamic
analyses, as a means for computing shear modulus, young’s modulus, and
Poisson’s ratio, or simply for the
determination of anomalies
The seismic refraction method is based on the measurement of the
travel time of seismic waves refracted at the interfaces between subsurface layers of different velocity.
SEISMIC REFRACTION AND MICROTREMOR SURVEY The TERRALOC MK6 has been conceived to be adaptable to sub-surface seismic investigations, from the upper layers of the earth to the deepest and whatever the study, the TERRALOC is the
seismograph to use.(see figure 3 and 4)

Benefits of the Pressuremeter Test:
Can be conveniently used with drilling equipment or pushed in with direct push equipment. While tests can be done in soft clay or loose sands, the test is best used in dense sands, hard
clays and weathered rock which cannot be tested with push equipment.
An extensive database of load test results allows the geotechnical engineer to accurately
design for shallow foundations and for lateral and vertical capacity of deep foundations.

TEMPERATURE, LEVEL, CONDUCTIVITY
Conductivity Measurements
The TLC Meter uses a ‘smart’ conductivity sensor with
platinum electrodes to read conductivity from 0 – 80,000 μS.
The conductivity is displayed on the rotating screen along
with the associated temperature measurement. The ‘smart’
standardized to 25°C, i.e. specific conductance. The
conductance temperature coefficient is 2.0% per °C.
Calibration is simple, using 1413 μS and 80,000 μS solutions
for single or two point conductivity calibration.
A Tape Guide/Datum allows the depth measurement to be
read at the marked position on the Tape Guide, to give
reliable, repeatable, accurate depth measurements when profiling a well. The Tape Guide protects the tape from
damage on rough edges of well casing.
Temperature Measurements
The TLC Meter operates in a range from –15°C to +50°C (23°F to 122°F). You may choose to have the readings
displayed on the LCD screen in °C or °F. Accuracy is +/- 0.3°C in Celsius, or +/-0.5°F in Fahrenheit. Conductivity
measurements are temperature sensitive. The ‘smart’ TLC
probe automatically adjusts the measured conductivity values
to display as specific conductance. This provides standardized
repeatably comparable measurements. When the probe is turned on, the LCD screen displays both
conductivity and temperature. A short wait of 20 seconds per
degree Celsius of temperature change is required for the measurements to stabilize at each desired depth, before
recording the three measurements.
COMPANY PROFILE (Rev.11-March 2015) sheet 25 of 30
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY
Accurate positioning of the Survey Vessel and Marine Sensors is obtained by Differential Global Positioning
System (D.G.P.S.)
This is a Satellite based navigation system and Differential corrections can be supplied by a shore-based
reference station for high accuracy in-shore surveys (UHF Telemetry link provides sub-meter accuracies referenced to a Bench Mark).
Bathymetry
Bathymetric surveys obtain water depths of the area by single and dual frequency, Digital Echo Sounders. Tidal corrections to reduce the water depths to a common datum can be obtained by Government predictions
or by recording, digital Tide Gauges.
Project engaged with:
Bathymetrics of approximately 1.4 sq. kM or has - Masinloc, Zambales
Current Measurement - Masinloc, Zambales
