<Intro> If a person or a church pass through the process of dismantling called
sufferings, the new answers will come to appear before them.
1. God May Make Them Worthy of Calling (2 Thess 1:11a)
(1) Renewal of Self – Restoration of the original image (Gen 1:27-28)
a. Dying of the old self (Rom 6:6), putting on the new self (Eph 4:24),
become a newly re-created person (2 Cor 5:17)
b. An independent person standing alone as a witness of healing and
such summit
c. A ruling person as Adam in Gen 2.
(2) Renewal of Doing
a. T.C.K (emptied)
b. Refugees (neglected)
c. N.C.K (abandoned)
d. Juvenile criminals (darkened)
e. Sickened (blind-spot)
f. Addicted (disaster)
g. Elites (future disaster)
(3) Being worthy of God’s calling
2. Fulfilling by His Power (2 Thess 1:11b)
(1) Every resolve for Good
(2) Every work of faith
(3) By his power
a. Not people-centered, but God-centered
b. Not directed by events, but according to God’s plan
c. Not focused on disputes, but being led by God’s works
3. May Be Glorified (2 Thess 1:12)
(1) The name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you
(2) And, you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ
a. The restored and required movement after 500 years since the
Reformation
b. The evangelism movement to raise the 10,000,000 evangelizing
disciples to continue for 1,000 years.
Conclusion: the changing moment – when you realize, sufferings become rewards,
problems become answers, and the pain becomes a mission.
