without makeup and had to face a lot of criticism. "he idea of #nomakupselfie was started at first

to spread awareness about all type of cancers which was later on carried out by the cancer

research center $ specifically to aware people about the breast cancer and gather donation for

the cancer patients. "he cancer research center $ was able to gather %& million for cancer

patients in ' days of campaigns. "he concept of #nomakupselfie hash tag was able to attract

large amount of female audience because it was associated with a disease with which ma(ority of

women suffer and to show solidarity with breast cancer patients by posting no makeup selfies.

commentators by providing people a more moral acceptable purpose to be the narcissist. t was

not always clear who were the audience of these selfies. "he sense of moral and participation of

people in any good action was too a compelling force behind their contribution to this campaign.

Moreover- if it is seen from the perspective of the peer pressure then in #nomakupselfie

campaign was added the degree of pressure because friends- family members- and followers

were taking part in this campaign.

#nomakupselfie had very broad coverage in the print and electronic media also very great

contributing factor in collecting great participation in the fundraising campaign. owever

#nomakupselfie campaign had some similarities with much other varieties of the campaign yet

there was some difference that was still there. "he greatest criticism faced by #nomakupselfie
