Scholarship, which provides funding for one or two students to study at the St. Peter's College Summer School in Oxford, England. St. Peter's offers the opportunity to take courses in English Literature, Medieval History, or Environmental Studies. Classes are small and intensive, and offered in the tradi- tional British tutorial style. There are lots of organized ex- cursions, some tied directly to a particular course and oth- ers open to everyone in the summer school. Students in previous years have toured Welsh castles, visited Bath and Stonehenge, and made the Shakespearean pilgrimage to Stratford-upon-Avon. There's also time, of course, for weekend trips to London and beyond. Interested in crossing the pond next summer? Be sure to attend one of our Duckenfield info sessions, to be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 4pm, and Thursday, Novem- ber 5, at 5pm, in the Holmes basement multipurpose room. Virtually every Duckenfield Scholar over the past ten years has described their time in England as a life-changing ex- perience.
