TM Nursing Information System and Post Operative Assistance The electronic nursing record and wireless automatic monitoring of patients in the post- operative phase N.I.S.™ Nursing Information System allows the management of the nursing records and the management of clinical nursing data collected during the period of hospitalization of all the patients with workspaces of admitting, consultation and mobile devices to input all the data directly into hospital rooms. Moreover, thanks to the use of the system P.O.A. and wireless electronic devices, the system allows the continuous vital signs measure (blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, body temperature, heart rate) and also the system allows to incorporate them directly into thermometric modules and into the nursing record monitoring modules, all without the medical personnel contribution. After the operation patients (in particular the application is useful for the acute patients) have a continuous and careful monitoring of vital signs available and all the data are automatically grouped in a nursing record to make the quality of the detail and the accuracy better than the quality of the methods that are currently used. Electronic Nursing Record – Procedures traceability N.I.S.™ System allows: - Management of acceptance of patient admission - Compiling the nursing record - Automatic generation of report - Images acquisition to attach in nursing record - Traceability of administration of drug therapies - Viewing worklist for deliveries and for therapies daily Patients are monitored from their first admission to their discharge through the N.I.S.™ system so their clinic history is traced, archived and called back easily. It considerably reduces the clinical risk, the print cost ,it increases efficiency in researches, in modules compilation and it exponentially increases efficiency of hospital wards. The system allows the collection of the generic data on admission, the compilation of the nursing journal ,collection of thermometric data, monitoring post-operative, pre-and post-transfusion, required traceability, and traceability of the administered therapies.

P.O.A.™ - Automatic monitoring of a patient P.O.A.™ system is a network of meters of vital signs wireless (ISM 2.4 GHz.) It is able to signal and record the evolution of the patients’ health state. Vital signs of each patient are automatically measured, stored and made available anywhere on the NIS system connected to network in order to consultations in real time and / or rear. The system consists of some wireless devices, which placed near to the patients, with terminals attached to them, allow to measure vital signs such as blood pressure (SYS, DYA, MAP), the oxygen saturation in blood (SpO2), body temperature (Tc), heart rate (HR) and these devices allow to send these vital signs to wireless receivers that receive measurements and transfer them to the data collection system nursing NIS. You can monitor all the patients in the ward and have access to data in any location connected to the network through Bips and Otis meters, indicators of SpO2, HR, SYS, DYA, MAP and Tc and a suitable number of radio repeaters. Data also are included in the nursing record (post-operative monitoring, pre-and post-transfusion, thermometric data, etc.) and all the reports are automatically filled in. Multi-user, distribution and data storage N.I.S.™ lets share all clinical data with all the connected workspaces. The nursing record allows to do all the subsequent changes and updates of the nursing journal through multi-user systems. Each nurse can modify nursing record by entering in system through smart card. This modify will be registred with digital signature and then it will be saved in nursing record. With the storage
modules can, in a few clicks, call back or consult a nursing record and all the previews of hardcopy reports,that are automatically generated and delivered to the patient. Management of administration of therapies and "Mobile" solutions In addition to the workspaces connected to the network and thus they are always connected to a central server for the exchange and storage of information, the system provides mobile tools that allow you to work in the patient rooms, to edit data and to synchronize everything when you return on line. N.I.S.™ is equipped with a system of "connection recovery". Even if, in case of shared connection, there were some
connection problems with the server , the system of "connection recovery" could allow to operate by synchronizing automatically when the data link is re-established. The solution is particularly effective, during all those operations of monitoring at the wards, ie during data collection performed in visit or in nursing controls. A specific cart with a extractable portable tablet pc will allow the data collection, the changes of nursing record, to capture parameters and images directly from recovery room.
