ISAE Recherche 2015 7 NIMPH Project, ISROS General Assembly April 30 2015
Nanosatellite Context: Why a nanosatellite for space research and experimental testing?
Interest For industrials and academics > Launching cost reduction (vs. satellite) > Frequent launches > Simplified System/fast delivery > integrated payload : COTS or Innovative devices, in flight qualification test > Collaborative project, University/Industry/Government: Academic projects/Student training program
Weaknesses > Small Energy budget > Reliability > Orbit limited (LOS/space law)
Cost (development + launching) = 1M€
