Playing the Main Riff of Black Sabbath’s “NIB”

IMPORTANT: Make sure your guitar is tuned to E Standard (EADGBE)Step 1: Begin with your pointer finger and ring fingers on the 7th and 8th frets of the A and D strings. Strum this chord (chord 1) twice.

Step 2: Move your fingers down two frets (further from your body) and strum this chord (chord 2) once.

After this, play chord 1 once more.

Step 3: move your fingers up to the 12th and 14th frets. Strum chord 3 once.

Step 4: Move your fingers down 2 frets to the 10th and 12th. Strum chord 4 once.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1 and 2. The riff is now complete.
