BOLIVIA ORPHANGE PROJECT Students from the Ohio State Nourish International Chapter will be traveling to Cochabamba, Bolivia this summer to help the community build an orphanage for children in the community. The children may be of any age from infancy to teen, and will live in the center until they graduate at 18. The goal of the program is to provide enough education and job training for the young people to then be self-sufficient and to live on their own. All the children will come from families having lived under $2 a day. Living at the center will significantly improve nutrition, education, health care, self-esteem and security for the children, as well as purpose for the mentoring families. Bolivia, the poorest country in South America, is dealing with an overwhelming number of orphans and fundraising efforts towards the project itself will advance the timeline of completion and greatly improve the project.
