Brendan Kearns – Senior Network Engineer Eircom

Brendan current responsibility is to provide technical leadership on eircom's IMS tender and

head up associated initiatives like the RCS trial. Brendan took a leading role in the process to

replace eircom's intelligent network platform with an open Java based service creation

environment. He continues to work on the strategy for eircom service networks and sees

merit in the reuse of Internet Apis in telecoms products. In the past he has worked as a

business consultant in the retail sector, and as an engineer in the avionics industry.
