Right-click on your network connection and

choose Properties

Select the tab Advanced

Make sure, the Firewall is Active

Click on Settings

Click Start, right-click My Network Places, and then click Properties.1.

Exceptions in the Windows Firewall

Click the Exceptions tab

Click here to add Port Exceptions

Add Program Exception to the Windows Firewall

Create Omni NFS Server Shares

‘EDIT‘ or create ‘NEW‘NFS Share

Check the Windows Folder Properties of NFS Share (Windows-Sharing)

Folder is not shared inside the M$ network

Check the Windows Folder Properties of NFS Share (Windows-Security)

Rightclick, selectProperties

Select Tab‚Security‘

Verify ‘Everyone‘ has‘Full access‘

Modify settingsIf needed

NOTE: These Windows security settings supersede the NFS Server settings !

If the Windows security settings don‘t grant full access, the NFS Server can‘t achieve a write access to this folder V+ sends a *Protection error* message.

Define V+ UserID to Windows-User Mapping

Click on Mapping

Select User Name Mapping-Tab

Select your PC from the list

Select your active account

Highlight your Account-Entry in the top list and select the appropriate Windows-Group membership from the bottom list …

Define V+ GroupID to Windows-Group Mapping

Select your PC from the list
