ConsultingThe success of any partnership rests in the parties’ ability to work openly and collaboratively while producing results. In order to build such a partnership, we first work with you to learn about your philosophy and goals. We want to understand your company’s culture, employee demographics, employee benefits programs, perceived value of the benefits programs and any challenges or issues that you currently face and / or expect to encounter in the near future. This process all begins with effective data gathering and data transparency.

We will use this data to build a roadmap, utilizing both analytics and diagnostics, to help you identify and pursue the benefits strategy solution that best meets the demands of your business and is accepted by employees. Once you have made a selection, we can also assist in the management and oversight of your implementation process. Following implementation, we ensure your program receives effective ongoing management.

Data AnalyticsWe believe that understanding and interpreting data is paramount to a well-run benefits plan. Our custom, dynamic analytical models help you control and predict your healthcare costs, as we balance industry standards with your goals.

Modeling ToolsInstead of relying upon limited third-party data solutions, at NFP we have built our own unique system: Data Analytics Systems Hub (DASH). It’s technology with a personal touch. DASH humanizes the data analytics process by combining information gathered through advanced technology with information gathered by live people.

Comprehensive Health ManagementOur Health Management Team assists in the creation, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based wellness programs. We create realistic budget parameters that include both hard and soft costs as well as expectations of reasonable returns. We maximize the use of readily available utilities, especially those that do not represent incremental costs. Where third-party providers are required, we identify and vet them to find the most cost-effective and reliable solution for you.

We can assign you a dedicated expert to lead your wellness, employee engagement and communications efforts. This includes everything from building incentive programs, to developing metrics and ROI targets, to conducting analyses of wellness and disease management platforms.

ComplianceAt NFP, we understand the complexities of managing compliance within multi-state organizations. AdministrationNFP’s Benefits Administration team consists of two integrated services: Benefits Concierge and Claims Advocacy. The groups work in concert to help support your staff with a variety of services.

Benefits Concierge And Claims AdvocacyBenefits Concierge assists with member changes, open enrollment assistance and general benefits questions. These efforts are streamlined with benefits systems and carrier portal access. Benefits Concierge has a dedicated phone number and email address that employers or employees can call for assistance with any of the provided services.

Claims Advocacy assists with all claims-related needs like submitting claims, clarifying how and why claims were processed, researching denials, and submitting appeals (when necessary). Depending on your preferred method, this information is then relayed to your HR team or directly to employees. While claims tend to take longer to resolve and turnaround times vary depending on the carriers, providers, and / or members, our Claims Advocates ensure that both the employee and, where applicable, the employer receive updates on any and all new information.

CommunicationOur team partners with your organization’s leadership group and HR staff to create a communications strategy that extends beyond annual open enrollment. Our goal is to elevate each employee’s understanding and appreciation for their benefits package.

We listen to your HR staff’s goals and challenges and design your strategy accordingly. Our in-house marketing team develops custom print materials as well as web and mobile phone-based materials.

Systems Specialists from NFP’s Benefits Integration Group can assist you with the selection, implementation, optimization and ongoing support of benefits management technology. The goal is to help you lower costs, adapt to change, and simplify your day-to-day processes.

If you desire a more turnkey approach, NFP can provide an intelligent and fully automated enrollment and benefits administration system, significantly reducing administrative costs and time-consuming paperwork for HR staff and employees.
